Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while reviewing the COVID hospitals and other development works in the religious city on Sunday, worshipped at Ram Lalla and at the Hanumangarhi temples.
The CM also discussed the details about the construction of the grand Ram temple and reviewed the ongoing works.
On reaching Ayodhya from Gonda on Sunday afternoon, the CM first held the review meeting of the development and welfare works with the district officials at the Circuit house, which went for about an hour. All the 5 MLAs and the lone MP Lalu Singh were present in the meeting.
Later he went to the Ram Janambhoomi premises and reviewed the construction works of the Ram temple.
He worshipped at the Ram Lalla and at the Hanumangarhi temples. He also planted a sapling in the Ram Janambhoomi premises.
He also met Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, who is the chairman of the Shree Ram Janambhoomi Tirath Khetra Trust and discussed with him about the progress of the construction of the Ram temple.
This was the second visit of the CM to Ayodhya during the pandemic. He had last visited the city on March 25, when the idols were shifted a temporary makeshift temple.
Earlier Yogi Adityanath visited Gonda district on Sunday morning and reviewed the arrangements in the Covid hospitals and the preparations made for preventing floods.
The CM also inspected the district hospital and talked with the patients and the doctors.
