Lucknow, Oct 1(IENews) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath met with the family members of the deceased Vivek Tiwari, who was last week gunned down by the police in Lucknow.
Vivek Tiwari worked for Apple in India.
Meeting Tiwari’s wife, the UP CM assured her of a government job and Rs 5 lakh compensation each to Vivek’s mother and his two daughters. The amount would be additional to Rs 25 lakh earlier compensation.
The CM has directed the DGP to expedite the trial of the case and punish the guilty policemen.
“The CM patiently listen to her problems and immediately ordered to provide financial relief,” Kalpana Tiwari told the media.
The government has taken a stringent action against the two police constables– Prashant Kumar and Sandeep Kumar, as they have been booked for murder and sent to judicial custody. Both the policemen have been sacked from the service too.
