Suzuki Motors touches 34.13 per cent growth in Oct

New Delhi, Nov 1 (IEBusiness) Riding on a strong festive-season growth, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has clocked a year-on-year growth of 34.13 per cent with a domestic dispatch of 61,768 units in October 2018.

Last year, the company has dispatched 46,048 units, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL said here.

Including exports, Suzuki Motorcycle India had a total dispatch of 65,689 units this month, a growth of 30.76 per cent over the 50,237 units achieved in October 2017. It clocked a cumulative sale of 4,36,798 units during April-October 2018 period.

In October, the company also commenced the deliveries of V-Strom 650XT ABS, the ultimate adventurer tourer in India, which was the third new product launch in FY 2018-19 from the company’s stable. The V-Strom 650XT ABS is Suzuki Motorcycle India’s third CKD unit in the big-bike segment after Hayabusa and the GSX-S750.

The company also launched its global flagship Motocross bikes – RM-Z450 and RM-Z250, designed specifically to promise an exhilarating off-roading experience to the riders.
