Students-doctors clash at BHU

Varanasi, Sep 25(IENews) A clash broke out between students and junior doctors at the Banaras Hindu University last night

During the clash, the students torched a police booth near LD guest house, a SBI ATM and two motorcycles.
Around five students were injured in the stone pelting.

The police force was rushed to the spot to control the situation. Officials claimed here on Tuesday that the situation was under control.

Dispute commenced after the doctors refused to admit a patient of a student in the surgery ward of the Sir Sunderlal hospital. First the students thrashed a junior doctor and later, they retaliated.

An FIR has been registered from both the sides against others.
