South Africa eases visas restrictions for travellers from BRICS nations

Johannesburg, Sept 26 (IENews) Indians to benefit from the newly relaxed rules on visas by the South African government.

Commencing from next month business and leisure travellers will be issued five-year, multiple-entry visas on arrival.

Travellers on leisure or business from the BRICS nation – China and India – could be granted 10-years, multiple-entry visas without having to apply in person.

South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs announced the eased restriction on visas yesterday as part of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s economic stimulus and recovery plan announced on Sept 21.
