Las Vegas, Oct 3 (IENews) Las Vegas Police Department has reopened a 2009 sexual assault investigation case against Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kathryn Mayorga, 25 at that time, has alleged that she was attacked by the footballer in a hotel room in Vegas that year, reported BBC.
However, 33-year-old Juventus forward Ronaldo has dismissed the claim.
Mayorga had reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement with then Real Madrid Footballer in 2010, involving a $375,000 payment for never going public with the allegations.
Her lawyers are seeking to declare the non-disclosure agreement void.
“At the time the report was taken, the victim did not provide detectives with the location of the incident or suspect description,” a police statement said.
The statement further added, “As of September 2018, the case has been reopened and our detectives are following up on information being provided.”
