Sensex bounces back 392.01 pts

Mumbai, Mar 5 (IEBusiness) The BSE sensex on Thursday jumped 392.01 points at 38,801.49 in opening trade tracking positive global cues.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose 96.20 points at 11,347.20.

The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 38,810.27 and 38,424.07 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded day intra-day high and low at 11,367.55 and 11,249.45 points respectively.

The sectoral indices include Materials, Consumer Durable, Realty, FMCG, Finance and Bankex stocks pushed the market up in early trade.

The gainers were HCL Tech by 3.19 pc to Rs 580.75, Kotak Bank by 3.06 pc to Rs 1656.85, Hind Unilever by 3.06 pc to Rs 2243.75, TCS by 2.73 pc to Rs 2140.05 and HeroMoto Corp by 1.81 pc to rs 2084.

The losers were Reliance Industries by 0.42 pc to Rs 1333.55, ICICI Bank by 0.09 pc to Rs 508.05, SBI by 0.07 pc to Rs 285.10 and L & T by 0.07 pc to Rs 1176.85
