Islamabad, Sep 28 (IENews) Saudi Arabia has signed three grants agreements with Pakistan for financial assistance in the planned China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Through the agreement, Saudi Arabia will finance three road infrastructure and energy projects.
Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry told Pakistani media that these agreements have been inked in line with an understanding reached during Pakistan Prime Minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia.
“The first step has been taken as three grant agreements have been signed. This is a very positive step and bodes well for relations between the two countries,” the minister further added.
