Perth, Dec 17 (IESports) Australia frustrated India as they added 58 runs to take their tally to 190 runs on the fourth day till lunch in the second Test being played here on Monday, taking a lead of 233 runs.
Tim Paine (37) and Usman Khawaja (67) were at the crease when the the lunch was declared.
Paine and Khawaja had taken the fight out of India. For their part, India’s bowlers had done very well. They bowled very strict lines and despite Australia enjoying the edge.
Australia resumed their second innings from 132/4. Australia may be down to nine batsmen with a right index finger injury to Aaron Finch and his involvement with the bat remains uncertain.
