Modi arrives in MP for ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’

Bhopal, Sept 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today arrived in the Madhya Pradesh capital for taking part in the the Karyakarta Mahakumbh being organised by the party’s state unit in the run-up to coming assembly elections.

Modi arrived in a special aircraft at the state hangar here. He was welcomed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state BJP chief Rakesh Singh.

The Premier would leave for the programme venue, Jamboree Ground, in a helicopter shortly. Earlier, Shah arrived here in a special aircraft this morning.

The party would sound the poll bugle for coming assembly elections through the Karyakarta Mahakumbh. The BJP has claimed that nearly 10 lakh party workers are assembling for the Mahakumbh. Modi and Shah would provide them the ‘mantra’ for victory in assembly elections. The leader duo would depart for New Delhi after taking part in the event at around 1500 hrs.

Earlier too, the party had set the tone for previous two assembly elections through similar Mahakumbhs.
