Leander Paes loses doubles first round at Chengdu Open

Chandigarh, Sep 25 (UNI) Top seed Ivan Dodig and Mate Pavic of Croatia defeated Leander Paes of India and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela of Mexico by 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 in the doubles first round match in the ATP World Tour $ 1,070,040 Chengdu Open (China). The Croatian pair won in one hour and 28 minutes.

Indian Jeevan Nedunchezhiya, partnering Aussie Austin Krajicek will face Divij Sharma of India and Artem Sitak of New Zealand in the doubles first round fixture.

Indian pair of N Sriram Balaji and Rohan Bopanna have been drawn to face Julio Perelta of Chile and Horacio Zeballos of Argentina in the doubles first round match.

In € 127,000 Open d’Orleans (France) Purav Raja of India and Rameez Junail of Australia will meet Yannick Maden of Germany and Tristan-Samuel Weissborn of Austria in the doubles first round match.
