Jharkhand CM Soren calls on PM Modi

New Delhi, Jan 11 (IECurrentAffairs) Newly installed Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM leader Hemant Soren on Saturday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted pictures of the two leaders with a simple missive – that the Chief Minister met PM Modi.
Mr Soren is heading a coalition regime in the eastern state wherein JMM is in alliance with the Congress and the RJD.
Sources said, the Chief Minister is expected to meet other central leaders and Ministers in Delhi and seek financial aid from the Centre for ongoing projects.
Mr Soren may also meet senior Congress leaders to discuss about cabinet expansion.
