Buenos Aires, Oct 9 (IESports) Weightlifter Jeremy Lalrinnunga created history by winning India’s first-ever Gold medal at the Youth Olympics in the men’s 62 kg weightlifting category.

He lifted a snatch of 124 kg and clean & jerk of 150 kg amounting to a total of 274 kg to finish on top.

Jeremy’s earlier best personal till now was of 273 kg (snatch+clean and jerk), which he achieved during an event at NIS Patiala last month.
