New Delhi/New York, Sep 27 (IENews) India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has a busy day on Thursday with multiple bilateral and multilateral meetings on cards in New York.
The Indian Foreign Affairs Minister is attending the United Nations General Assembly.
According to official sources,Swaraj will have a bilateral meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Tara Kono.
Among the multilateral engagements, she will also attend meetings of IBSA- India-Brazil-South Africa.
Swaraj will also attend SAARC ministerial meeting which would also be attended by Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
India last week cancelled a bilateral meeting between Swaraj and Qureshi, citing ‘evil’ agenda of Pakistan and said unless Pakistan changes its attitude towards terror and Jammu and Kashmir, any parleys will be meaningless.
The External Affairs Minister will also attend a meeting of BRICS foreign ministers, sources said.
