Chennai, Oct 9 (UNI) India’s second largest car manufacturer and largest exporter, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on Tuesday unveiled its ‘All New Santro–the Favourite family Car’.
Talking to reporters after the launch at its facility here, HMIL Managing Director Y K Koo said pre-Booking for All New Santro would be 100 per cent online starting from Wednesday till October 22, with Rs 11,100 as booking amount for the first 50,000 customers as an introductory offer.
Stating that the new model would be shipped out to all global markets apart from catering to domestic market, he said the World Premiere of The All New Santro would be held in New Delhi on October 23.
Mr Koo said “today is a historic and proud moment for us, as India has unanimously chosen the name of their Favourite Family Car to be called The All New Santro”. ”Since its first launch, Santro created history with its numerous segment-first innovations and became the Complete Family Car for millions of Indians”, he said.
He said the All New Santro was based on the six key pillars-–Modern Stylish Tallboy design, Comfortable and Premium Cabin, New Age technology, Customer Centric Safety, All Round Performance and Complete Peace of Mind, to become a Game Changer and Benchmark Product in the Indian Auto Industry.
The new model will also debut Advanced In-House developed Smart Auto AMT and offer factory fitted CNG option and developed to meet the needs of Indian Families with a focus to create a “Masterpiece Product” offering customers a great ownership experience.
The All New Santro would come packed with new age technology features, including segment-first 17.64 cm Touch Screen Audio Video System.
The Multi-media system was equipped with smart phone connectivity, Android auto, Apple Carplay and Mirror Link along with supporting Voice Recognition Function and Rear Parking Camera display on screen.
