Panjim, Nov 9 (IECurrentAffairs) Former chief minister for Goa Laxmikant Parsekar of the BJP has demanded the resignation of BJP state president, Vinay Tendulkar.
Coming out of a meeting with senior leaders of BJP held at former deputy chief minister Francis D’Souza’s house, Parsekar said, “Vinay Tendulkar is inefficient and cannot take decisions on his own. Therefore in the interest of the party he should resign.”
“He is acting like a puppet with no decision making powers. The entire party leadership in the state has to change, ” Parsekar expressed.
Senior leaders in the state are expressing their disappointment at the induction of the Congress leaders in the party.
Many senior leaders are also unclear on the functioning of the government in the state owing to Parrikar’s illness.
