Hubballi, Dec 22 (IECurrentAffairs) The Karnataka Cabinet expansion by the ruling JDS-Congress government headed by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy in the evening today will lead to further dissent among the Congress Legislators who are already displaying their dissatisfaction over the functioning of the coalition government where the party had been relegated to second place despite winning 80 seats compared to JD(S)’s 38, Opposition leader in the Legislative Assembly B S Yeddyurappa, who is also BJP State President said on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that “they spent 3 months unnecessarily and by neglecting State interests. Cabinet expansion scheduled earlier was postponed more than twice. They have failed to provide good administration. This government has proved to be a failure”
Mr Yeddyurappa opined that dropping Ramesh Jarkiholi will lead to political turmoil in the State politics. “BJP Legislators meeting will be convened shortly to discuss the prevailing political scenario in the State,” he added.
