Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the matters pertaining to Rafale aircraft deal was “crystal clear” from the beginning.
“We have said that the allegations leveled by Congress were baseless and was only aimed to gain political mileage,” Mr Singh told reporters.
In Lok Sabha, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narendra Singh Tomar echoed the government’s sentiment and said, “Rahul Gandhi has misled the country on Rafale all along and thus he should tender an apology”.
Lok Sabha had to be adjourned within minutes of its summoning on Friday morning after vocal BJP members including Nishikant Dubey and Prahlad Joshi demanded apology from Congress President on the Rafale deal row.
