NEW DELHI, December 7 (IECurrentAffairs) The Congress hand is clearly visible in Rajasthan, even as it would seem that the Lotus will struggle to bloom but not so in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh as the results of the Indian Expose – ProtectCore analysis which was released late Friday evening indicates.

In Rajasthan with 200 seats, the BJP is expected to get between 85-95 seats but Congress looks ahead with a probable 90 to 105 seats, which could be a spoiler to BJP plans in Rajasthan.

In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP is expected to hold its ground but after warding a Congress surge which still looks threatening. The ProtectCore analysis gives BJP between 107 to 123 seats with the Congress in the 96-110 seat bracket. The Congress therefore is not totally out of the race yet in the heart of the Hindi heartland

In Telangana, the Congress TDP combine hasn’t quite managed to break the fortress of the TRS, which looks likely to ward off anti-incumbency. The TRS will get between 59 and 64 seats, the Congress will end up with 35 to 40 seats with the BSP managing 5 to 7 seats

The tribal state of Chhattisgarh, is likely to witness an absolute cliffhanger with BJP likely to get between 45- 52 and the Congress following close behind with 35 to 41 seats

The hilly state of Mizoram will see the MNF romping to power with 18 to 23 seats with the Congress closely behind with 12 to 16 seats
