Shah dubs BJD as a non performing govt, slams Naveen

Puri, Sep 24 (UNI) BJP national president Amit Shah today slammed Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Dubbing the BJD a non performing government in the state.

Addressing the state BJP mahila morcha meet at Saradhabali ground here. Shah had a dig at Naveen Patnaik and said during the 18 year rule. The BJD had failed to perform and it was high time Mr Patnaik should go.

He said under the BJD regime women are not safe in Odisha as the state has became number one in the country in gang rape & murder of women besides poor health care.

The state government was not providing the farmers their due share which the central government was releasing in various schemes ,the BJP President said and alleged that state government was operating hand in gloves with millers depriving the farmers the minimum support price for their produce.

He said Naveen Patnaik had criticized Modiji to look into the corruption in Ujjala yojna but the reality is that the Ujjala yojna has brought smile on the faces of lakhs of women in the state.

Because of arrogant attitude of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the people of the state were deprived of from getting benefits under Ayusman Bharat scheme, he said.

He warned the IAS and IPS Officers in the state to come out from sycophancy and do their duty.

Shah said “parivartan” is inevitable as the electorates are disenchanted with the Naveen Patnaik rule and they would bring BJP to power in the state in the 2019 elections.

He promised that after coming to power in Odisha, the BJP would make Odisha number one in the country in five years.

The BJP president gave clear message to the hundreds of women workers and office bearers who participated in the meeting to undertake and do hard work in their respective areas (Shakti Kandras) to make the people understand that the central government
schemes were being branded in the name of BJD and garner their support.
