Bajaj Auto January 2019 sales up by 15 pc

Mumbai, Feb 04 (IEBusiness) Auto Major, Bajaj Auto Limited has reported a rise of 15 per cent in its January 2019 sale at 407,150 units against 353,147 units sold in January 2018.

The company has sold 350,460 motorcycles in January 2019, as compared to 288,936 in January 2018 registering a growth of 21 per cent.

The domestic sales of motorcycles 25 per cent Year-on-Year and exports by 17 per cent Year-on-Year.

The company has reported 12 per cent drop in sales of commercial vehicles (CV) during January 2019 at 56,690 units as against 64,211 units during January 2018.

The domestic sales of CVs was down by 28 per cent in January 2019 in comparison to January 2018 and the exports grew 14 per cent Year-on-Year.
