Australia beat West Indies to reach final of World T-20

Antigua,Nov 23 (IESports) Australia beat hosts West Indies by 71 runs and moved comfortably into the final of the Women’s World T20 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on Friday.

Alyssa Healy was the highest scorer for Australia with 46 off 38 balls.Captain Meg Lanning also played a crucial innings of 31 runs and helped Australia to reach 142-5 in 20 overs.

West Indies while chasing the target were bowled out for 71 in 17.2 overs.

Australian bowlers Perry, Delissa Kimmince and Ashleigh Gardner shared two wickets each respectively.
Earlier West Indies won the toss and invited Australia to bat first in the first semi final match of the World T-20.

Now,Australia are aiming to win the tournament for a fourth time, after successes in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
