Adelaide Test: India 56/4 against Australia till lunch

Adelaide, Dec 6 (IESports) India were 56/4 after 27 overs against Australia on day one of the first Test of the four-match series here at Adelaide Oval on Thursday.

Pujara 11 and Rohit Sharma 15 were at the crease when Lunch was declared.

Earlier, skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first.
Openers K L Rahul and Murali Vijay fell cheaply losing their wickets after being caught off by Finch in Hazlewood’s spell and Starc respectively.
Rahul 2 off 8 deliveries was the first to go in 2nd over and then Murali was also sent to the pavillion in the 7th over.

Skipper Kohli too had a short stay at the crease after being caught off by Khawaja in Cummins spell in the 11th over. Kohli’s 3 came off 16 balls.
After Kohli’s departure Rahane 13 off 31 balls with a six also fell to Hazlewood in the 21st over.
